Being Manipulated again by BOE

I was wondering how everyone feels about our district letting the "little" people go so they can create two new Administrative jobs at a total salary of $150,000!!! They are letting go of 4 monitors at the high school where they are needed most. They think having the teachers monitor the halls will take care of that. It most certainly won't. You can't get the teachers to write up passes when a student skips (because they are a problem and don't want them in the class), you can't get them to stop writing passes to where students don't need to be (again so they don't have to be responsibile for them), they won't follow the dress code rules, etc. So what makes anyone think they are going to monitor the hallways responsibly, especially when they are all having fits about having to do it!!!! This school system is going to the dogs. There is no consistency, there is blatant favortism to selected employees (such as one monitor who on paid time is soliciting signatures to have her husband run for school board!!! But it has been allowed. There is no control....and the responsibility for this mess is the TOP....but we are going to cut needed positions for more TOP incompetents. Go figure. And why did the BOE let this only just be known!!!!
